Warm sunlight from the left illuminates this wooded landscape, where nude and semi-nude figures and their livestock are shown resting by a small body of water. A half-naked woman, with a deep blue cloak wrapped around her loins and a discarded white dress behind her, is seated on a rock in the foreground, where the painter has also added his monogram. She is addressing a young man leaning on. In the left foreground a few cows and sheep have paused to drink.

I grew up in the Netherlands and graduated at the Academy of Arts "Hogeschool der Kunsten" in Utrecht with a specialization in fashion and illustration. I then started as a freelance stylist in Amsterdam working for magazine publishers, television producers, a hotel chain and a model agency. It was at this school that I started working with the technique of mixed media, a combination of acrylic paint and different kinds of materials which expresses and visualizes my inspiration. A lot of my work is an illustration of my travelling through many countries, during which I gained an endless source of inspiration and a challenge to put my creative ideas on canvas.
